About the Show
Formed in 1978 on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Choirboys lived through the hedonistic rock ’n’ roll lifestyle of the 70s – and it inspired their legendary anthem, Run to Paradise.
Now, more than 35 years on, they’re spilling the beans in a unique show that’s part story, part song – packed with outrageous tales, hilarious moments, and the iconic pub rock tracks that defined a generation.
From AC/DC to Dragon, Deep Purple to Chuck Berry, and of course Choirboys’ own anthems (Boys Will Be Boys, Never Gonna Die, Struggletown, and Run to Paradise) – this is a night that celebrates the wild spirit of Aussie rock.
As frontman Mark Gable says: “They didn’t call it Pub Rock in those days, but we were there in the beginning – and we’re still here now.”
