Now, we’re giving you the chance to celebrate them.
Triple M Gold Coast and Sports Gold Coast are proud to present the People’s Choice Award as part of the 2026 Gold Coast Sports Awards — and we want YOU to help decide which club deserves the title of the Gold Coast’s Best Sporting Club.
Whether it’s a major club lighting up the stadiums or a local team keeping the community connected, every club has a story worth sharing.
How It Works
1. NOMINATE YOUR CLUB
From Monday 1 December, you can nominate any sporting club on the Gold Coast — big or small, professional or grassroots.

On Friday 16 January, we’ll drop the Top 6 Clubs — right here and live on Triple M Gold Coast.

3. THE GOLD COAST VOTES
Once the Top 6 are announced, it’s over to YOU.
The Gold Coast will have two weeks to vote for their favourite club and help crown the 2026 People’s Choice winner. Rally your team. Rally your fans. This is where the competition heats up.
4. WINNER ANNOUNCED AT THE 2026 GOLD COAST SPORTS AWARDS
The club with the most votes will be officially crowned the People’s Choice Winner at the spectacular 2026 Gold Coast Sports Awards, held on 28 February 2026.
Presented Sports Gold Coast, the event is a dazzling celebration of athletic achievement, community spirit, and innovation. Bringing together local legends, emerging stars, elite athletes, major clubs, and the volunteers who make it all possible, the ceremony embodies the city’s passion and commitment to sport at every level.
With electrifying performances and inspiring moments, it’s the perfect stage to honour the club that captured the hearts of the Gold Coast.
