Greyhounds As Pets Adoption Day

Looking for a new furry friend?

Greyhounds As Pets are holding an Adoption Day on Saturday, September 5 at The Station in Newcastle.

Come along between 10am and 1pm to meet a range of beautiful greyhounds looking for their forever homes. Adoption fees start from just $75 for senior greyhounds, with standard adoptions available for $150.

Kahibah Village Fair

The Kahibah Village Alliance invites you to a day of family fun at the Kahibah Village Fair on Sunday, 13 September.

This free, family-friendly event features an animal petting zoo, magician, live dance and singing performances, market stalls, plus food and refreshments.

All organised by local volunteers, with funds raised supporting improvements to Kahibah Memorial Park.

Vacy Country Carnival

The annual Vacy Country Carnival is back on Sunday 13th September at the Vacy Farmers Hotel!

Presented by BlackJack Pastoral, this free, family-friendly event is a great day out in the country, with small dog racing, big dog high jump, camel rides, cutting horse displays, chainsaw team displays, market stalls and FREE live music from 12pm to 6:30pm.

It’s dog-friendly too, so bring the whole family, four-legged members included!

Newcastle Brickfest: A LEGO Fan Event

Newcastle Brickfest A LEGO Fan Event is taking over the Newcastle Jockey Club on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September!

Explore nearly 300 tables of incredible custom creations from builders across Australia, get hands-on in the massive interactive Build Zone, put your skills to the test in the 3-minute Speed Build competition and see if you can complete the Find a Minifigure hunt.

Newcastle Brickfest A LEGO Fan Event is a not-for-profit event, with 100% of profits donated to the John Hunter Children’s Hospital Kids Club.

Tickets purchased on the weekend of the event increase to $12 per person or $40 per family, so book ahead and save.
