The petition to end all petitions was created by Beau, Cat and Woodsy who teamed up with GIO to give the good people of NSW a public holiday for the State of Origin. GIO are proud partners of the NSW Blues, so they were the BEST people to help push the public holiday petition along.
Unfortunately, NSW Premier Chris Minns came into the studio for a chat, and shut down the idea of a public holiday for State of Origin Game III. BUT that doesn’t stop Beau, Cat and Woodsy along with GIO – as they have now created their own Unofficial Public Holiday! It’s all happening Thursday 3rd July, and will involve a day of activities designed by Beau, Cat and Woodsy.
Cat has chosen a cocktail making class, making NSW’s favourite cocktail – a Spicy Margarita! Beau wants to head to the Golf Driving Range in Moore Park, and Woodsy is warming up his arm for a game of darts in the Rocks. And we will finish the day with lunch at Sydney’s most iconic location – Squires Landing.
AND did we mention that not only will you win your way to the Unofficial Public Holiday but GIO are also throwing in tickets to the State of Origin decider in Sydney! HOW GOOD IS THAT!
If you want to come along to Beau, Cat and Woodsy’s Unofficial Public Holiday thanks to GIO, register you details below or call 133353 from 8am on Monday! The catch – you will need to get your bosses permission to come!
